According to The Washington Post, a third of U.S. workers under 40 considered changing careers during the pandemic and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the average person born between 1957 and 1964 held 12.4 jobs between the ages of 18 and 54. So much for jobs for life, then!
And with today’s labor market proving even more unpredictable, just imagine how many jobs younger generations can expect to have in the same timeframe. At some point, career change practically becomes a necessity.
