Referral Program FAQs

CareerFoundry would like to reward you for spreading the word about us and encouraging friends to enroll on CareerFoundry courses. Please find a short FAQ section below, followed by the Terms and Conditions for the CareerFoundry Referral Program (“Referral Program Terms & Conditions”). The FAQs are provided for your convenience and are non-binding. Referral fees and discounts are subject to the Referral Program Terms & Conditions.

How do I know if I qualify for a referral discount?
You qualify for a referral discount if you have never enrolled in a CareerFoundry course before and register with us through a link provided by a friend who is currently either a student, graduate, tutor or mentor at CareerFoundry.

How many times can I use a referral discount?
You can only use the referral discount once when you enroll for your first CareerFoundry course.

Can I use a referral discount in conjunction with another offer?
No, it is not permitted to use the referral discount in conjunction with any other CareerFoundry offers, nor in conjunction with a Climb Credit or Ascent loan for US citizens. If you have received multiple offers, you will have to decide on which one to apply for your enrollment.

CareerFoundry GmbH (“CareerFoundry”) is the sole responsible entity for the organization of this promotion.

1. Referral Bonus:

• €250 or $250 (USD) cash per successful referral (paid in your local currency, depending on your region)
• 10% discount on program prices for the referred person
• Only one referral bonus is paid per referred person independent of how many CareerFoundry programs the single referred person takes

2. Qualification and Eligibility Criteria:

• Referred person must not yet be nor have been an enrolled student at CareerFoundry
• No bonus is paid out for referrals who are already in contact with CareerFoundry or have been in the past
• The referral must be made within the referral bonus period using the referral form or personal referral link and must be clearly attributable to the referrer
• The referrer must be 18 years of age or older and must reside in a country where it is legal to participate in referral promotion programs
• The referred person must enroll in a CareerFoundry program within 3 months after the referral notice was submitted to CareerFoundry. Only programs qualify for referral.
• The referred person must attend more than 60 (payable) days of a CareerFoundry course or program
• Any bonus already paid out or pending will become invalid if the referred person withdraws from the program or course within aforementioned period and before prize fulfillment
• There is no entitlement or actionable claim to the referral bonus if any of the listed requirements are not met

3. Notification:

• CareerFoundry will notify the referrers entitled to the referral bonus within 7 days if all qualification and eligibility requirements for granting the referral bonus are met
• The notification for qualified and eligible referrers will be made per email containing the next step to receive payment of the referral bonus

4. Prize Fulfillment and Data Protection:

• The provision of the following personal data is absolutely necessary so that the referral bonus can be paid to the referrer:
  • First & last name
  • Full mailing address 
  • Bank details
• The referral bonus will be paid in the middle of the month following the fulfillment of the above mentioned qualification and eligibility criteria
• The referral bonus becomes invalid if the referred person withdraws from the program or course
• By participating in the referral promotion, you agree to the collection and use of this personal data. You agree to receive emails or communication from CareerFoundry in relation to this referral promotion.
• If CareerFoundry is not not able to reach a qualified and eligible referrer within 60 days after all criteria have been met, or if the referrer does not agree to the collection of aforementioned personal data, the referral bonus will become invalid
• We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy and the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)

5. General Terms:

• By participating in this referral promotion, the referrer agrees to release CareerFoundry of any and all liability. Legal recourse is excluded.
• Further promotion of the CareerFoundry referral bonus promotion is strictly prohibited, this includes promotion on search engines such as Google or Bing
• Referrers are not allowed to present themselves as affiliated to CareerFoundry in any way 
• The 10% discount on program prices for the referred person cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions
• Referrers agree to accept these terms and conditions, which shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany excluding the Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and the conflict of laws provisions
• CareerFoundry reserves the right to exclude referrers from the referral bonus promotion in the event of violation of any of the listed terms and conditions, in the event of manipulation in connection with the implementation of the promotion, in the event of violations of these terms and conditions, and/or in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the referral promotion. In such cases, any rewards already paid out or pending will become invalid
• CareerFoundry takes no responsibility for potential impact of referral payments on unemployment benefits; CareerFoundry recommends that all referrers check with their Agentur für Arbeit to clarify their individual situation before receiving any referral bonus
• Should parts or individual phrases of these Terms & Conditions be invalid, the remaining parts shall remain unaffected in their content and validity. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the respective legal regulation, where existent
