Speaking about his career change, Alex said:

“I studied architecture in school but realized quickly I didn’t enjoy the profession early on after graduation. After working for two years, I decided to apply my passion for design into tech. I love the holistic approach to UX design, but I also love visual problem-solving. UI feels like a combination of aesthetics and problem solving, and it just feels more natural to me.”
