Brittany Anderson-Freese's Portfolio Project
Throughout the Data Analytics Program, students are asked to imagine themselves as analysts for various imaginary companies. Below is a selection of analyses that form Data Analytics Program student Brittany’s portfolio.
Hi Brittany! What inspired you to make a career change into data analytics?
I have a background in social work, and I think social work/healthcare and data analytics pair well together. To understand how to provide the best services to those in need, we need to analyze our data and outcomes.
What did you enjoy most about the program?
I enjoyed learning about the data, applying the SQL skills I’ve acquired, and making visualizations that make the data more exciting and interesting.
With regards to your new skills, what are your hopes for the future?
I hope to be able to find a job as a data analyst in a healthcare setting!
