Veronika Harbachova's Portfolio Project

Former Supply Chain Specialist Veronika graduated from the Web Development Program in last year, and was able to find a job as a frontend developer! Now, she’s ready to work with more great developers, grow in the field, and extend her expertise.
Hi Veronika! What inspired you to make a career change into this field?
Despite being a linguist, I always had an interest in computer science, and when my life had slowed down enough to have time to rethink my plans, I decided to get back to my interest, and I don’t regret it.
Are you currently employed? And if so, what is your job title?
I found a job after graduating and have been working as a Frontend Developer. However, due to the pandemic, I was one of the many that were let go from the company. Now I am in the search for a new opportunity.
Tell us about this portfolio project.
I enjoyed the opportunity to build a complete project from ground up, being able to exercise my newly learned skills, both in the front-end and back-end.
This project is a REST API movie web app that focuses on the server-side component of a web app. CineStock provides users with information about different movies, genres and directors. The users can then save their favorite movies to their personal account.
Tools Used:
