What inspired you to make a career change into this field?<\/h5>\n

I was doing a graphic design course, and my brother told me about UI\/UX design. So I looked into it, and I shadowed the UI designer who works at the same company as my brother. I fell in love with it, so I decided to take an online course to learn UI and found CareerFoundry!<\/p>\n

What did you enjoy most about the CareerFoundry Intro to UI Design Course?<\/h5>\n

I think what I enjoyed the most was definitely the content of the course, and the way it\u2019s taught. I also really enjoyed talking with my mentor on our video calls; she\u2019s really awesome and gave me a lot more knowledge about the field. The course is just a really great one and I would definitely recommend it!<\/p>\n

What did you enjoy about creating your CareerFoundry portfolio project?<\/h5>\n

I am very creative, so I really enjoyed the creativity of the project. As an intro course project, it\u2019s not super flexible, but there are little things that you can get creative with to make it a little more personalized.<\/p>\n

With regards to your new career and skills, what are your hopes for the future?<\/h5>\n

Once I finish the immersion and specialization courses with CareerFoundry, I\u2019m hoping to get a UI design job at a company and just keep moving up the ranks until I can get a really good remote UI\/UX design job. Then, at some point I want to go off on my own and do freelance UI design.<\/p>\n
