Throughout the UX Design Program, you’ll build out a job-ready portfolio. Below is a breakdown of UX graduate Songhui’s portfolio project Inq.

Hi Songhui! What inspired you to make a career change into UX design?

As an ex product manager, I most enjoyed the design part of product management. However, I experienced real problems because the company I worked for did not have the design thinking process. I believe that human-centric design is the answer to every product design.

What did you enjoy about working on this portfolio project?

I enjoyed creating end-to-end user experiences from detailed user research to high fidelity clickable prototype, with the learning-by-doing approach.

With regards to your new skills, what are your hopes for the future?

As a curious person, I’m fascinated by the fast-growing tech industry. I hope to be able to work on one of these hot new technologies that change human’s quality of life!
