Who is the course for?

The course is designed for UX designers who want to improve their UI skills. If you’re a beginner, we recommend taking a look at our UI Design Course for beginners instead.

How long does the course take?

The course is 120 hours long. Most people choose to study 15 hours / week and finish in 8 weeks. However, this is flexible — you may choose to put in more time and finish sooner or request an extension.

How many Mentor calls will I get?

You’ll be working with the same Mentor throughout the entire course. You’ll mainly be communicating online, but you’ll also be entitled to 3 Mentor calls during the 8-week period.

What equipment do I need to take the course?

To take the course, you can use any laptop or PC. Windows devices are suitable; however, we recommend using either a MacBook Air or a MacBook Pro; both industry-standard devices for designers.

Which tools will I use during the course?

During the course, we recommend you design using Sketch if you have a Mac or Adobe CC if you have a PC. For prototyping, you’ll be using InVision. There are lots of UI design tools on the market. Once you’ve mastered the basics, we encourage you to explore different tools and find the ones which work best for you.

Do I have to pay for the tools?

We offer a range of different perks such as free trials or discounts. You will get a 9-month free subscription to InVision, plus a 50% discount for Sketch. You can learn more about our perks here.
